How about a big round of applause!!

I'd like to say, that every day there's some kind of reason to celebrate. there are a number of personality types with that grunt and snort and probably disagree. Although most will roll their eyes and simply their mouths shut, a few will stand proudly and rebut.

Oh yes, I know, there are generous, kindhearted souls that will indeed agree with me. So, lets not go there. We agree.

It's those that grumble and twitch their eyebrows at the though of something to silly that I'd like to address.

Sure, there are reasons every day to complain. There are reasons to gripe and moan. There are reasons to not want to get up in the morning, nor go to work, not deal with the day. There are even more minute to minute reasons to bicker or wonder what inevitable doom lies ahead...

But let me just say, every day we wake up... we're breathing - YAY!
Every day we have someone to tell our gripes and joys to... we have a friend - HooRay!
Every day we have a job or a means to make an income or even just a way to do something for a reason... we have a purpose - Lordy Lordy Halleluiah!

I personally think it would be especially bothersome to wake up one day with no purpose, no friends, no family, no food, and darnit, not even breathing. That would be a day to say it sucks.

So the next time you stop.... actually you don't stop, you just start blurting out the troubles of the moment, at least take the second moment to stop and celebrate the fact you had the moment to gripe in he first place. :D

Now go give someone a hug and get back to your previously scheduled whatever!

Thursday Thirteen, My 22nd list... I think

It occurred to me just last night, there are probably 13 things I do every single day. Yes, I am a woman of habit... kinda. So Let's try this, every day I

1. Check my email, check old flags and make new flags and hope I just won that secret email passing Bill Gates is watching your chain letters about Disney hoax whatever... chain letter worth millions.

2. Send my hubby an IM :* (or at least I think of it every day)

3. Stop to think of "what do I need to do today" and then stop again 3 more times to remember what it was I was going to do today.

4. Gaze out the window hoping to catch a random idea floating in the wind.

5. Remember I need to do laundry

6. Think about organizing the paper choas

7. I work - on what, depends on the day, check back to number 1 and 3... but it changes every day.

8. Harrass my children (you know, they think its harassing, i call it loving)

9. Brush my teeth - yeah, i had to through that in or someone might ask me if i have hygeine issues

10. I check stats all over the place. What I do with those stats really depends on what the stats are for. there's work states, sales stats, traffic stats... sometimes I'll compare stats or project new stats... in the end I always end up pondering stats for their statistcally happiness and forget what I was trying to figure from them.

11. Do a mental check and make sure I haven't lost my mind. Every day there is a reason to think I've lost it. I'm lucky to have a wide variety of crazy causing circumtances... I never get bored.

12. I ask how can I improve..... fill in the blank... -- I think this has a lot to do with my long todo list, my crazy feeling brain and my lack of sleep. I am always trying to figure out what I can improve. It's not always work related... no no, sometimes I pondering improving the paint color of the kitchen, or immproving the weed pile in the yard...whatever the case may be. How can I make better.

13. And every day I stop to think of how I could have been a better person. I'm a big grump and abit goofy about things sometimes, so every day I try to stop and think, how could I have improved me today.

Traveling Tuesdays

So thinking of traveling...

Throughout the years I've been to many places. I moved a great deal growing up which translated into a mindset that never wants to sit still. I've been to both coasts and back again many times. I've been on countless airplanes and dozens of road trips.

Yet, my favorite thing about traveling is the people. I love spending time meeting new people, visiting with old friends, celebrating with family and exploring new views.

From a tiny 3 day weekend just an hour away, to a 3 week road trip up the pacific highway... I always find myself in awe of the beauty of the land. It still amazes me how diverse the landscape is. I've seen the beautiful colors of the Shanandoah mountains in the fall. I've seen the mist hover over a northwestern morning. I've driven through a sunrise over the Grand Canyon, and I've spent a wintery thanksgiving in Vermont. I've experienced the sweaty heat of mid-July as a 30 second snowfall in the south, breathed in the floral air in Tennessee.

I love Stopping to investigate the forgotten hide-a-ways along those tiny 2 lane highways. Finding that fabulous diner in the middle of nowhere to indulge in a big plate of home cooked food is a joy everyone should be blessed with at least once in their life time.

Of all the places I've been, all the people I've met, I always seem to come back home... to Colorado.

Wishing for wishes - Thursday Thirteen #19

It's 2:20 am and I'm thinking I should be in bed, but instead I'm trying to ahead..
so this week's 13 thoughts will be rather simple.

My Thursday Thirteen (numero 19)
The thirteen things,
off the top of my oh so sleepy head,
that I wish I had more time to do.

1. Take a drive... for no reason.

2. Sit on the carpet and do nothing but play.

3. Dig in the dirt and plant things I'll inevitably forget to water.

4. Make "science projects" with my kids from mystery kitchen ingredients - and see what results... on purpose.

5. Go to the park and swing.

6. Enjoy the internet for the information that abounds without having to learn something.

7. Clean and organize my entire house....

8. So I can finish painting (you know, the great beautiful plans I've had for 2 years)...

9. SO I wouldnt mind having my friends over just for hamburgers.

10. Travel - so my boys can experience the culture, not just read about it.

11. Sculpt something useless

12. Learn how to make brownies

13. Enjoy an entire day with no agenda.

Thursdays and Thinking Those Thoughts - Thursday Thirteen #18

Yet another Thursday and I find myself, once again, pondering what to.. um... ponder for the day.

No, I'm not feeling full of myself, but I do love me. Ya can't love anyone else until you truly love yourself...

Someone told me recently, that for my Thursday Thirteen I should be talking more about myself... Thursday 13 not ment for business. I agree with that a gazillion%. So I've been thinking for a while now, what exactly does that mean, and how does it apply to me?

So here's my 13 thoughts on what it means when someone says "this should be about YOU" (when it applies to me, JGoode).

1. My Art - doodles, photography, illustration, animation and site design... is ME

-- I've been actively involved in some kind of art community since I was 5 when I won my first coloring contest.

2. I happen to be one of those very fortunate people that gets to do what I love. Or better yet, have made the opportunity for myself to do what I love.

-- My art is my business. I make it my business, I'm nosey like that. Not for the reason of being in business (see #3)... no no. If it were up to me, I'd draw all day and just give it away. But... if I love it, and someone else likes it, why not feed my family doing it? Why struggle with a job one doesn't love just to make money... sounds like a waste of one's lifetime to me -- So that's the goal, Spread the happiness and smiley doodles.. and make money doing it. Howe COOOOL of a concept is THAT?

3. Believe it or not, my art isn't my "real job".. Newp! Yes indeedy, I have a day job - totally unrelated to "who I am" (or it's unrelated now anyway)-- thus the need to doodle and share and doodle some more... it's a preventive tactic for my mental well-being.. with the help of daily gallons of
coffee

which of course inspired the coffee doodles.

4. Standing up and showing someone else what one has created for the shear purpose of creative expression, takes balls, guts, courage, strength or maybe just vodka. However you want to phrase it; so for me to stand up and share with complete strangers, something I have created, it helps me grow as a creative thinker as well as an individual. It also opens the door for unsolicited critiques...

Which leads me to --

5. I also share what I do because critiques inspire improvement. Feedback, viewpoint and opinion are all invaluable assets to acquire.
-- I love learning how I can do something better. And Lordy, I definitely have room for improvement. -- so yes, please comment freely!!

--> Now this brings me back to, who am I and why don't I talk about my family or my house or my dog or whatever. What is it people would want to know more about me.. hmmm - if you got this far, maybe you've picked up on the idea that I am a doodler and doodling is me... (I used to say piddle, but that sounds more like someone needs to clean the carpet when I'm finished) So anyway... I'll give you a few more insights:
(an no, I don't have a dog. I have boys.)

6. One of my favorite artists is Leonardo Da Vinci - not for his art, but for his brilliance, his thinking processes, his courage to explore and his daring spirit.

7. My most fun doodle right now is my Penguins. Funny enough, I've never collected penguins nor had a specific love for them. Never had a facination with them or anything of the kind. I just happen to really like this particular doodle.. started out with an Egghead
, and then turned into a similar shaped critter, the Geek Chick
and now I just darn like the Penguin
. ... interesting how things trangress dontcha think?

8. I reallllly love Dragonflies. However, they're really difficult to create with various personalities.. clothing doesnt fit their wings right. its just all wrong.. believe me, I've tried LOL.

9. The very first doodle I did, that inspired me to go in the direction I am going now...

Peace Love and Happiness, a simple cartoon style drawing. I just started building a design collection last year and I created this design as an attempt to express my view on the topic of "peace". Almost immediately, I sold a handful of this design on the Hooded Sweatshirt . -- At the time, sales were very very rare, and I was drawing as a way to balance out my mind from my disheartening day job. When I started selling this first design, a lightbulb nearly exploded with ideas -- not to mention the motivation that followed!

10. One of my all time best selling t-shirts has nothing to do with my love for drawing nor my skills, it has everything to do with my boys and the inspiration they throw at me every day. I can be a bit grumpy.. I'm a mom and a wife and I stay home doing it all... and being the only female in the house makes it all that much more fun... - wink -

11. Last fall I started a small shop purely for the sake of raising money for charity. My thought was (and still is) - I may not always be able to afford donating money. Because of my own family obligations, I may not always be able to donate time. However, I have a skill that I will gladly share for the sake of helping another. So.. with this, Design for a Cause was born. Every design in the shop is focused at a specific cause and 100% of my proceeds go to help that cause, whatever it may be. I have also scattered additional doodles throughout my sites with the same purpose... "creating to inspire hope".

12. My husband thinks I'm a dork - I say he's the kettle - (he usually agrees).

13. I learned yesterday, I am not fond of snakes.... especially 4+ ft snakes that slither through my own yard. -- I'd show you a picture here of the friendly new neighbor. But my organizational skills have empowered me to temporarily forget where my camera cable went. :D

Penguins, Posting, Passing & Oh PLEASE, it can't be Thursday Already!

So here we are.. again at Thursday. What happened to last Thursday? Or the Thursday before? Every day is turning into one big blobby blob blur... but MAYBE that's the point. Better to remember blur than crazy workaholic chaos, right?

So, what ever shall we talk about on such a grand ol' day?
I think instead of the deep ponderings filled with concepts of self improvement, fabulous success world change... I'll just tell you what I've been up to this week. Ya never know, you might find something interesting.

1. I wrote my first blog with a purpose, which lead me to
2. My first cartoon with a message which resulted in
3. A new blog, and
4. A new focused shop

BUT, then the real fun begins....

5. Saturday, after realizing how much fun 1-4 were, It occurred to me that I needed a plan, a way to tell the world I have PENGUINS
HA!
and they have something to say.

Sooo, this brainstorming resulted in a whole new series of events, starting with a fun interactive idea to Name the Penguin (oh yes, please do).

6. so then I built a whole new site, with new fun features (and a shop where all my penguin cartoons can be purchased) and I started to tell my pals

--- GO VOTE for a NAME
--- GO SUGGEST NAMES (penguin names of course)
--- HEY, go tell your friends to vote and add - and then add and vote

(please and thank you and ty and all)

and THEN I realized I should

7. tell more people! So I wrote a press release - my first ever. Very exciting and scary at the same time!

-- tons of first things this week. Maybe I need a shirt for that!

8. I then blogged about the new site and the press release... you guessed it, on a brand new blog
9. And then I began setting up a forum for Penguin Lovers. (no, sorry, you can't see it yet... next week, I promise)
10. Then I stopped to breathe. :D
11. I chatted with a few friends I haven't talked to in a while.. got caught up on how everyone is doing.
12. I talked with my 3 year old about building a big tall tower that we could CRASHHhh to the ground (that was just last night)
13. I blogged... on blog a cow (that's right here, in case you've already forgotten)

because I like to think that maybe, there are some of you out there, that think I've forgotten you, if I forget to write. I can't be held responsible for that... so HI, have a HAPPY day! :D

Ya know, it would be really cool if you click that penguin and then went to that site and then got your own neat penguin to put on your blog. I would giggle with excitement for days if I roamed the blogsphere and found my penguin happily living everywhere. HAHA. Adventures into the Realm of Wow

So... did ya know, today is Thursday the 13th. Oh yes, how fun and festive is it to be blogging a Thursday Thirteen on a real live Thursday the 13th? I just can't stand the potential excitement!

So, I've spent the last 2 weeks hopping on airplanes landing in the midst of mass conversations. First was a family gathering, all my husband's side, many of whom I had not met previously. The second was a a business trip to the Affiliate Summit in Orlando.

From these recent adventures, I've acquired heaps of misc. tid bits loaded with fantastic inspirations for not only business success, but also every day life...

1. "I don't waste my time getting mad over silly things.. laugh it off and move on."
- being angry takes a lot of engery which could better be directed towards the progress that should surround us. It's so much more satsifying to me if I end my day on a high note, leaving me excited for another great day... than to end the day with "tomorrow will be a better day".

2. "I don't get mad about things because I just don't care."
- Said with a proud giggle. It's not about not "caring"; it's about not being concerned and consumed by the quirks and kinks that always come up. It's about going with the flow and letting life happen.

3. "Be persistant and have fun!"
- rarely does success come on the first try. More often than not, we'll find ourselves in a state of frustration over our lack of results. Success takes time so we need to stick with "it" and believe in the potential success. However, to stick with something and to truly put forth effort when it appears our efforts are in vain... we gotta have fun -- enjoy what it is we are doing.

4. "Either do what you love or learn to love what it is you do".
- This is one of my favorites. I've always said: we spend so much of our lives working, it's a waste of our time here on earth putting forth effort towards things we don't love and believe in.

5. "Money can buy things that make us happy, but money can't buy us happiness."
- Oh yes, with enough money, happiness may fill our lives in a material aspect, but if all we have to show for happiness is the things we own and the places we can afford to go, we fill our lives with days of grumble and discouragement all for the sake of "i can't wait to go on vacation". Every day should be a vacation IMO.

6. "Some of the best networking opportunities are at the smoking table."
- every opportunity to sit and just talk with people is an opportunity to new successes. We should be spending our time really listening and talking with no preconcieved agendas and just see what happens.

7. "Focus on the - one thing - you do well; don't try to say you can do everything."
- My husband has also said many times, it's not about being able to know how to do everything yourself, it's about knowing who you need to do everything -- a reworded version of a Henry Ford quote. This is SO true. Find your strength/s and then find others to work with that are strong in your weak areas.

8. "Take with you the important things, leave behind the baggage"
- Don't try to hold on to every time thing you hear or think you've learned. Hold on to the parts and pieces that are important to your business and life, and let the rest go. Save room in that already oveerloaded grey matter for more of what it is you need and can use.

9. "Dramatically changing things takes a desire and honesty."
- If you really want to make a change, you need to not only really believe in the change, but we also need to be honesty in our approach, tactics and pursuit of the change. We need to put forth the effort and run ahead full force... great things can and will result.

10. "Serious reflection is always needed."
- It's one thing to push aheead with ideas and attitudes, or brainstorm variations of tactics towards our goals. However, it's an entirely different view when we really take the time to stop, think about where we are and what has happened. We need to really make time to view and ponder and realize where we started, what we've tried, who we've helped and who has helped us.

11. "What can I do for you today?"
- in such a fast paced society I think we often find ourselves in a "I need" mode. " I need to do this....", "I need to find this....", "I need so-and-so for this...". If we stop and ask of others, "What can I do for YOU today?", I think we'll find more of what we need without asking for it. - Think about it, if I walked up to you unexpectedly, and ask you what I could do for you... many times the resulting reaction is "um, well what can I do for YOU?".

12. "Develop something of value and people will link to it."
- not only does this apply to the world of websites and ecommerce, but it also applies to every day life. If we put more value into the things we present to others, the value that is gained is then held on to and passed on. Remembeer the "pass-it-foward" concept? People pass on the positive without requiring something in return.

13. My own quote for week is "I'm just being me, and making new connections... ".
- During all of my traveling I was walking into the unknown and had no idea what exactly to expect. I had no idea who I would talk to, let alone what I would have to offer to a conversation. Yet, I walked away having made piles of new friends, meeting mentors I didn't realize I'd find, and learning more about me than anything else. Always because I was "sitting at the smoking table".

13 ways to lose your mind

Ohh happy happy Thursday! I've been running around like mad for i can't exactly say.. but probably full force since about April. I thought that after my sister's wedding was over things would slow down... I mis-calculated.

So today's Thursday thirteen is more or less a list of all the ways I can think of (or at least 13 of them) to make yourself crazy... or prevent scheduling chaos...

1. Make a list - they always say make a list. I prefer to make a list that i forget i have. so then i need to make a list of where my lists are... and try to remember i have those too.

2. Plan ahead - its always a good idea to plan. Make sure to plan ahead so that when your schedule gets completely whacked, you have more reason to have a mental breakdown because your plan has vanished and no one has noticed you even had a plan.

3. Always consider everyone - make sure to take in account how every project will affect anyone remotely involved so that you never please everyone 100% and you never finish your project how you planned (see #2).

4. Brainstorm - its a great idea to brainstorm new ideas, especially when youre in the middle of your latest "bright idea" project. this way, you'll side-track yourself to the point that you must either stop what youre doing to find your list and add to it, or begin a new project because it's definitely a higher priority than the last.

5. Think it Through - a million times before you start. If you stop to think of every possible result, reaction, alternate plan or even compliment vs insult... there is no possible way you can produce the perfect solution. perfect.

6. Always be willing to help - every time someone asks if you can help, whether its for work, family, side work or otherwise, make sure to always lend your helpful self regardless of the time frame. who cares if you don't sleep?

7. Believe in Yourself - to the point that you know you can do anything you try. This way, when you are approached with a #6 situation, you know you aren't crazy and you can indeed live a zombie life.

8. Go with the Flow - make sure to bend at every obstacle that comes your way. This will build character, teach tolerance and surely test your ethics and morals.

9. Teach Indepedence and Confidence - and stay out of silly arguements; so when you walk into super walmart with your children they are sure to argue amongst themselves at the top of their confident lungs knowing you will continue to walk the other way pretending you don't them.

10. Make Time for Yourself - and make sure on your "for me" list (that you can't find) you have noted things such as "organize the garage", "weed the garden" and "paint the guestroom", you have yet to build, so that when you are truely exhausted from life's mundane dailies, you have something to look forward to.

11. Set Goals for Your Children - before they are born. Things such as do's and don't of disapline and learning experiences.. by planning these in advance you're sure to find yourself in the midst of an adventure -- review #2, 5 and 9.

12. Have a Good Attitude - regardless of the situation. Other's will surely see you as a go-getter that can handle anything and know you are there when they need you. When times are tough, they'll gladly step out of your way to let you do what it is you do, because you can handle it alone.

13. The best way I can think of to drive yourself crazy is to be all you can be, all the time regardless of your knowledge of who you really are. Don't worry about stopping to listen to your own advice but do worry about how your actions will become consequences for everyone else (good or bad).. because what's most important is that everyone is happy...

right?

I missed my Thursday 13 yesterday. Things were crazy and by the time I had a chance to sit and write, it was today, which is very much not thursday... Thank Goodness!

Lovin' the Road Trip

A friend of mine is taking the weekend to get away from the "real world" and spend the time driving... taking a road trip. I think vegetables are highly under rated. Oh sure, you meet people that live for salad or eat nothing but veggies because meat is "murder"... but how many people shout out.. I LOVE VEGGIES!!!! ?

Not many, in my experience.

Although I definitely would grab the slice of cheese cake before diving into a big bowl-o-green leaves, I do love veggies... but not for their nutritional value, nor tasty crunch. I love veggies for their color. From a creative/artistic thinker point-of-view, I love the vibrance of Mother Nature's vitamin packed menu... so today's Thursday Thirteen is an Ode to Orange... Carrot Orange to be exact. (and that smiley to your left.. that's my own veggie contribution to the bunch).

13 Diddles and Da Code

So, I read The Davinci Code. Actually, I've read all of Dan Brown's books. I enjoyed every one. I appreciate hisstyle of writing and the delicate balance between fact and fiction keeps me interested.

I've noticed, since the moview came out and the hype for the book has been revived, that there are some interesting things happening. I'm seeing more commentary using works by Leondaro... my all time favorite artist, and has been for eons. Yet now, he is a mainstream topic. Does the general public really know what this man accomplished? Do they know the brilliance he spewed in every direction?

There there's the whole debate... is it fact, or is fiction (the book/movie). it is words of Satan or is it pure entertainment. Are there secret messages... should we absorb all this and take it to heart?

Hell NO!

I just don't understand this need to debate and trend set and whatever else everyone does when a topic comes up that becomes popular. Now I realize, I say this and yet, here I am, writing. But really.. I thought I'd share some of the design follies I've found since this trend has started...

1. The dancing of twinkling lights in the quiet of the night, reminds me every day is worth remembering how to giggle.

Chocolate vs Networking

So it's Thursday again and this morning I got up ready to roll with my Thursday Thirteen blog. Now what happened to 9am? It's now 6:15 in the PM and I'm just now getting settled in my day. I've been crazy busy working on a variety of projects and meeting a wide array of new people. eComExpo just ended and I'm sure I have a ton to talk about... but now I'm ready for a nap.

Thirteen reasons networking is better than chocolate:

1. I've always enjoyed meeting new people, regardless of the purpose or occasion.

2. Walking away from any event with a pile of business cards always makes me feel like I have people to see, places to go and things to accomplish.

3. It's fun to witness the mix of directions people come from when attending events.

4. it's great to be able to mingle with competitors. Often times they turn out to be good contacts in the long run.

5. It's always beneficial for future projects to have a face to put with a name.

6. It's even more beneficial to be able to associate a personality with a product.

7. Talking with peers within a given industry always results in at least one good brainstorm.

8. Listening to gurus in an industry always results in inspiration for more brainstorming.

9. Making new connections, more often times than not, can result in future business opporutunities and partnerships.

10. Meeting new people with angles on an industry that I don't have, always helps me find that answer to "where am I headed?".

11. Live networking usually includes free live refreshments. :D

12. Online networking can be accomplished in one's jammies.

13 I love networking because it always seems to open new doors, inpre new ideas and moptivate an otherwise potentially stagnent progression of success. :D

Dood, as if I need an excuse to where a funny t-shirt, now there are t-shirts about being funny on a funny day. Is that backwards or is that the beauty of self expression? I really don't have any pranks planned this year. My better half is always the one that comes up with the monster plots for April Fools Day. However, over the last 3 years life's realities mixed with his overly creative processings have desensitized both sides of our extended family from the fool's tricks. So now what? Happy Thursday 13 Day: Have some cake!

So here we are again, tootin' our horns about Thursday Thirteen. What ever shall I babbly blog about today? (that's what I always say).

Well, actually, I really like cake, There are a number of subliminal messages, inside jokes and just plain old mental yumminess that is surrounded by, involved with, focused on or otherwise enjoyed by... cake.

So let's think about this... 13 things to love about cake.

1. Birthdays, every day should be a birthday just so we can eat more cake

2. Flavors, there are at least 53 flavors of cake, rainbow chip being one of my personal favs... combine that with the multitude of frosting and topping options, I am pretty sure there is a new cake for every day of the year.

3. Cake and sex:
"piece of cake" translates to "super simple, no problemo".. in other words.. cake is easy... "cake is easy" can then be translated.. "you're so sweet, I wonder if you're easy"... "I want cake" would then translate into "I want to get 'some' (cake)"

WEEE-elllE... lucky you, I happen to have a theory, with which I shall enlighten you. In this case its associated with a tshirt, exhibit B (up there ^ was the unlabel exhibit A):

So, I don't own an iPod. I don't know what to do with bluetooth anything, except the dentist will put blue crap on the teeth of small children to prove a point about the importance of brushing or not eatting that 5th doughnut or whatever... I don't even have an answering machine.
So all this Origami business, I get it, its maybe big and neat. I won't be getting it. I think I'd rather be saving the cash for a nice little trip to the electronic-devicely beaches of someplaces.
But, in the meantime... here's some orgami that may just be dandy fun

After midnight...

1. the only noise in the house is children snoring

Origami it is... or is it?

I am Mac girl. An Apple lover. A woman who digs her devices... in (most) all flavors. But for the most part, I like to say I'm a loyally fruity gal.

With that in mind, and this new mystery hype on Micosoft's Origami project, I can't help but wonder what will land upon us on March 2nd. I can't remember the last big WOW project coming out of Bill's corner. However, I haven't been paying a whole lot of attention.

Reading Robert Scoble's comments, I had to giggle....

Whenever hype gets ahead of an announcement, the answer has to be: no.

But, then, you gotta realize that I totally agree with Joe Wilcox who says that the best companies underpromise and overdeliver. Now, did see that link? I'll save you the click.. "Apple consistently does this well--and did so, again, yesterday." and "Apple rarely widely beta tests products. Version one typically is good enough." That's an article from February 15th about the MacBook Pro notebooks.

And then Scoble adds in....

"Maybe I should have posted that no one will want an Origami and that it sucks raw potatoes."

So now he is over stating by overly understating...
And how exactly does one suck a raw potatoe? I'm not even sure that sounds kinky. More like a baseball meet one's front tooth, Oh yeah, I want an Origami! I know they will ROCK!

Yes, my fellow surfers, Brrreeeport is the place to be. A land filled with lush green meadows and half naked ladies who prance freely the whole day through. YOU, should come to Brrreeeport too!

Thats the hidden truth behind the horrid mishap of our dear friend Mr. Dick Cheney. Yes, my blog happy friends. The truth is... Cheney was out and about, enjoying his time on a lavish vacation in good ol' brrreeeport. Daily massages and bottomless glasses of white zin. He enjoyed nightly story time with hip hopping hoppers and afternoon tea n crumpets. He dear ol' Dick was having a grand old time.

And then.. the vacation ended. His heart sank back into the hum drum of daily decisions and dutifilled productivelessness. Sad and stiff, he went decided a little hunting jaunt would do him good.

I think we all know...

he was wrong.

Brrreeeport OR BUST!

So I was wondering around looking for inspiration for ponderable thoughts so I roamed over onto a friend's blog talking about brrreeeport. Really, to be honest, I didn't take notice of the actual writing as the headline had me envisioning mini bree wheels(yes, the cheese) doing the go daddy dance. You know "go brrreeeport .. go brrreeport.. go". Quite disturbing (the possiblity of my mind being that distorted, not the vision).

So I decided my desparately needing a nap brain could use some fun skimming time. I ended up on technorati in search of more brrreeeport. I was amazed at the amount of babble going on. (yes, I'm sittin' here babblin now, but there's a point... comeon, focus here)

From what I'm gathering, a smiley guy named Robert Scoble instigated this entertaining test.(note, if he is not his own banner, I can not label him as smiley. but for now, we'll assume he is he who is indeed smiley) Without digging at all, I happened upon Tips for joinging the A list, (my thinking it was)totally off topic, but showing up in the listing of level headed, or supposedly worth reading folk. Seeing as how I'm easily distracted and even more easily amused... I read on.
What a neat little quest this brrreeeport journey is. How fast can we go? -- ohhhhhhhh... hi ho the dairy->OH, I'm usually the one who's so damn slooooooaOH!

Anyway, then I remembered I was brrreeeporting it, so I headed back out to skim headlines and pick another. I don't usually pay attention to authors, i just click. An LO and BEHOLD... there is Mr. Robert Scoble's smiley banner again. Apparently this man has things to talk about. This time, THE Official Brrreeeport Report. Yeeehaw! I have gotten myself closer to the beginning of the story.

By now, I have stopped digging up brrreeeport history to write thoughts that I forgot i had to share and instead wrote what you just read....

But, really I'd like to thank Mr. Scoble. He inspired me to stop whining about how to get on the A list. Cuz now I have a neat list of A list ideas to ponder. And boy, am I gonna ponder now!

By the way, I just wanna know, why brrreeeport? Sounds like a retirement locale. Why not schnizzleblat or hobbalobagook?
or snortlebean? Or one of my favors.. twiddledork ---> thats a nerdy type that likes to um.. twiddle.

brrreeeport is extraoridinarily suseptible to typos. I'm am the world's worst proofreader, yet I tend to make the same errors consistantly Brrreeeport, on the otherhand, I found I had mis-typed 5 different ways... minimum.
Brrrport, breeeport, brrreport..... ACK what an awfully humbling word it tis.

In Search of the Cow

I spend a lot of time online. Doing what exactly, I don't always know, nor can I recall 5 minutes after I've done whatever it was it thought i was doing but didn't accomplish. I'm in a constant mode of:
What needs to get done today?
What should can I improve?
What can I finish?
Better yet...
oh wait, I need more coffee. While I'm up I'll check this over here. Oh yeah, the laundry. Wait what.. OH NO, get the play dough out of you hair. Let's wash your hands. OK where was I? Email, right. Oh wait, I need my coffee.

What was I doing? Oh yeah, thinking of something to start to finish.

Lord knows I try to accomplish great things every day. But apparently, all this time I spend online is merely for the purpose of giving me something to write about for 45 seconds.

When will it all begin?

Oh yeah, so the point was... I was looking around the web for some fun and wacky blogs about cows or some twist on cow something or other and of the masses of people around the globe. I found... ZERO. So, here I am again, starting another unfinished project for the sake of cow hunting everywhere.
